The Loizias Foundation is a UK charitable foundation funding research into autoimmune disease, opening doors for the next generation of scientists, and building resources that last.

Around 1 in 10 people in the UK live with an autoimmune condition. Crohn's, colitis, lupus, MS, type 1 diabetes, PSC and many more. Because each individual condition affects a relatively small number of people, much of the research that could change lives struggles to attract funding. The questions that cut across conditions, the ones that might unlock progress for everyone, too often fall through the cracks.

We exist to change that. We partner with established autoimmune charities, fund research and scholarships, and take a seat on the panels that decide where the money goes. Every pound donated is restricted to research and scholarships. Our running costs are covered separately by our founder, so the full value of your gift reaches the cause.

We are building for the long term, not the next funding cycle.
