Circle's Fundraising for Loizias Foundation
Circle Development
My Story
Imagine being told there is no treatment for the disease attacking your body. No cure. Nothing to slow it down. All the doctors can offer is to go home, wait, and watch.
That is the reality of Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, a rare autoimmune liver disease. It is also the reality for Michael Loizias, who founded The Loizias Foundation after his own PSC diagnosis in 2024 nearly killed him.
Michael is 33. He has two young sons. The reason a disease like PSC still has no treatment is simple and brutal. Too few people have it for the drug companies to invest, so the research that could change everything struggles to find funding. Families are left with solution.
We are not willing to accept that.
On Sunday 11 October 2026, 24 runners from Circle Development are taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon to do something about it. They are running for Michael. They are running for every family living with PSC. And they are asking for your help.
This is where you come in. Your donation, whatever the size, goes straight to PSC research through our charity partner PSC Support UK. 100% of it. Your £10, £25 or £100 reaches the science that could give people like Michael and the thousands of others effected by this condition, a future that does not exist today.
No one should be sent home to wait. Help us fund the research that changes the answer.
Please donate today. Thank you for backing the team.
We Keep Moving Forward.
